Training Workshops

The Motivated Presenter™ Series currently includes two levels of training workshops designed to give you and your team an intense, hands-on transformation in presentation skill and confidence. This series is designed to work sequentially, with graduates from Level 1 trained and ready to move onto Level 2.

Because of our desire to give you and your team individualized attention, helpful feedback and high interaction, these workshops are limited in size to less than 15 participants per session. Level 2 includes video taped presentation and playback coaching.

Not theory, but learning for real world application. In all of our training workshops we work on “real stuff,” that is, participants are encouraged to bring with them an upcoming presentation that they are working towards and we use that actual material to apply the new high engagement techniques. In this ways, participants get actual work done during the training and have the opportunity to apply the new knowledge and skills in the real world. This helps create an immediate return-on-investment for the time and money spent on training.  It also helps the new training knowledge “stick” and prevents the reappearance of old habits.

1) Keep the focus on yourself. We rely so much on visuals and other “aids” that we give too many opportunities for the attendees to lose focus and wander off. Keep the energy centered on the presenter.

2) Use stories. Lots of them. The best preachers know this too. Start with a story. Throw one in the middle. And close with one. They draw people in and if you have the right one it is always relatable.”
